THE WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION OF BLOOD BANKS WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1951 TO:
Provide continuing education on blood bank related topics to all state facilities at a low cost.
Establish consistency in blood bank continuing education throughout the state.
Increase the level of blood bank proficiency throughout the state.
Sponsor an annual blood bank seminar.
Promote an exchange of ideas or materials.
Provide a forum for discussing mutual concerns.
Encourage involvement of all blood bank related health professionals in the WABB educational program.
Develop workshops, seminars, and/or alternate teaching methods to present current topics in a well-designed manner.
The association is committed to providing current information and to generating a forum for discussion of mutual concerns for all individuals in Wisconsin who are interested in the field of blood banking.
